Fence Installation & Repair services in Lamont
Farm fields come right up to the edge of Lamont, a small unincorporated community southeast of Bakersfield. Most of our calls here are practical ones. Families want a yard closed in for children and dogs, a gate that locks, and a fence that does not cost more than it has to. Chain link is common and makes sense, since it shrugs off sun that ruins untreated wood. Packing sheds, equipment yards and farm shops around town need taller chain link with gates wide enough for trucks and tractors. The soil is valley loam that turns to powder in summer and to sticky mud after a winter rain. Irrigation next to a fence line keeps wood posts wet at the base, so we look at where the water runs before we set anything.

Permits and local rules
Lamont is unincorporated, so fence height and permit questions go to Kern County, not to a city hall. We check the county zoning rule for your parcel before quoting.
